May Property Auction Catalogue Launched

A well known Leeds amusement arcade is gambling on attracting buyers when it comes up for auction in Leeds next month.

The tenanted property on Branch Road, in Armley town centre also includes a café and laundrette as well as storage, workshop and office space.

The property is let on a single long term lease and currently generates annual rent of £30,000. It is offered at a guide price of £270,000 plus, a healthy return of 11%.

Tony Webber of auctioneers Eddisons said: ‘This is a well known property which generates a very attractive yield.’

A total of 100 lots are set for auction including instructions from receivers, administrators, mortgagees in possession and private clients.

Mr Webber said: ‘The catalogue has something for everyone and with the majority of lots realistically priced I anticipate a very busy sale.’

Also included in the sale catalogue is a vacant former care home in Liversedge, West Yorkshire.

The property has a guide price of £190,000 plus having been previously marketed at £350,000.It is being offered on the instructions of the administrator.

The site extends to 0.37 acres and may suit redevelopment subject to planning consent.

At their last auction Eddisons reported 90 (74%) of the 122 lots offered were sold.

The next Eddisons auction is taking place at Leeds United Football Club, Elland Road, Leeds on May 11 starting at noon and at The Fairways Lodge and Leisure Club, Prestwich, Manchester on May 13 at 1.00pm.
