A portfolio of public houses across the north of England is being put up for auction in Leeds later this month.
The 11 pubs are being offered separately on the instructions of Enterprise Inns at heavily discounted prices to attract buyers.
These include the former Coach and Horses in Tadcaster which has a guide price of £165,000 having been previously marketed at £250,000, a reduction of 34%.
The pubs are among 148 lots due to go under the hammer as auctioneers Eddisons look to build on the success of their February sale which generated proceeds of over £5.5m.
Tony Webber of Eddisons said: ‘This catalogue includes a huge cross section of lots and should have something for everyone.
‘Retail investments, land, industrial ground rents, garage investments, tenanted and vacant houses and flats are all well represented and are very much priced to sell.’
Other lots include two former schools in Leeds which are being offered on the instructions of the city council.
The former Methley Infant School on Little Church Lane, Methley has a guide price of £550,000 plus.
The building has a floor area of nearly 15,000 sq ft on a site of approximately 4.2 acres and could be suitable for residential institutions, dwelling houses and non-residential institutions subject to the necessary consents.
Meanwhile, the former Cross Hall Infant School on Fountain Street, Morley is being offered at a guide price of £450,000 plus.
With a gross floor area of over 11,000 sq ft on a site of approximately 1.03 acres it is advertised as being potentially suitable for residential, community or educational use, subject to planning.
Mr Webber commented: ‘It is clear from the sale of the former Pudsey Grangefield School for £481,000 at our last auction that buyers see huge potential with these sorts of buildings.’
At the other end of the scale the former Gilbert Hill service reservoir in Barnsley and the former Mount Skip service reservoir, Hebden Bridge are both being offered on the instructions of Yorkshire Water at declared nil reserves.
The two day sale is taking place at Leeds United Football Club, Elland Road, Leeds on March 25 commencing at noon and at The Fairways Lodge and Leisure Club, Prestwich, Manchester on March 30 at 1.00pm.
